About Chris

Born into a musical family, it was inevitable that growing up, Chris would be exposed to a wealth of musical experiences. With both parents music teachers, his brother a pianist and himself a drummer and guitarist, music was all around.

From a very early age, Chris consolidated his natural talent by working hard and studying music. His dedication and commitment meant that he could move from instrument to instrument with consummate ease. Today, he can boast piano, drums, guitar, bass, singing, banjo, ukulele, lap steel and and more in his musical arsenal.

By his early teens, Chris knew that being a musician would be his life’s work and his focus was rewarded when he earned a place at Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester, where he studied drums and guitar with some of the greatest musicians and teachers of our time. He went on to read Music Technology at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he learnt to combine his instrumental skills with composition and technology.

Chris has been a successful professional musician and a teacher for many years, but has always been a songwriter and composer at heart. He has released two solo albums and has several more in the pipeline, but is never one to sit back and become complacent, and has diversified into writing for other artists. He is extremely versatile, with many musical genres at his fingertips; from country to metal, jazz to pop, hip hop to rock - the possibilities are endless!

Chris has a large back catalogue, with many tracks already signed to international music libraries. His own music has sold across the world and he has enjoyed radio play from Europe to the United States, earning him a global following.
